Establishment and development process of Aulac Co., Ltd
Before 1999, Tuan Chau was only a poor island commune under Ha Long city, whose civilans mainly earned their living by catching fish with primitive means. On island, there were no electricity, water and transport isolated with the land, then the material and spirit life of people became inadequate.

Life of Tuan Chau people have become improved since 1998 when the Aulac Co., Ltd officially built a road connecting an island with Highway 18A, 2,145m long, 15m wide with two motor lanes and pavement for pedestrians.

Tuan Chau trademark is created by a very young Au Lac Company whose Director is Mr. Dao Hong Tuyen. Moreover, he is also a Chairman of Board of Directors of other 15 companies from North to South with 30,000 workers.

After only 3 year leadership, by confidence with Quang Ninh hometown, intelligence, strong will, gathering human knowledge together with powerful finance, Dao Hong Tuyen turns all neglected poor island to a tourism and recreation center famous not only in Vietnam but also in the world. Tuan Chau really becomes a bright pearl of the Quang Ninh tourist sector in particular and that of Vietnam in general.

Total area of Tuan Chau, Ha Long Tourism and Recreation Complex project is 710 ha. On Tuan Chau island, there are many projects completed as follows:

  • Road connecting island with land;

  • Man-made beach is the biggest in Vietnam, over 6km long with many beach games and underwater ones such as beach volleyball, surfing, parachute pulling motors, high-speed water sliding ones……;

  • Infrastructure, road, electricity, water, communication are executed comprehensively in compliance with standards;

  • A club of dolphins, white whales, sea-calves, sea lions performance has a capacity of 2500 seats, which is a versatile stage designed according to imitation of sail image meeting wind from Ha Long Bay and was awarded the second rank in Vietnam Architecture contest in 2002;

  • A club of crocodile performance with 700 seats

  • Water dance and laser light performance stage with 12,000 seats

  • Dancing hall;

  • Cuisine area built according to unique style, imitation of 17th , 18th century Vietnam court architecture can serve 5000 customers in the same time

  • Tourism wharf

  • Hotel system with 700 international standard rooms in which 250 ones were put in operation until December 2007

  • Conference center

  • Supermarket and souvenir shop system

  • Massage và spa area

  • Helicoper airport.

  • Ferry-boad, tourism ship route from Tuan Chau-Ha Long to Cat Ba-Hai Phong and vice verse;
