VietNamNet Bridge - Classical music and fashion shows was held during the 2008 Ha Long Tourism Festival at Thien Cung – Dau Go cave in the heart of Ha Long Bay on April 27 for the benefit of the great number of visitors the festival is expected to attract.
Top models paraded in ao dai and in the wedding dresses of various ethnic minorities such as Tay, San, Chi, Dao, Thanh Y, and Dao Thanh Phan.

More than 60 members of the symphony orchestra of the Viet Nam Opera Ballet Theater gave a classical music performance that introduced the audience to the masterpieces of Mozart and Vivaldi, as well as to songs honoring the beauty and people of Ha Long Bay.

The shows are cultural activities celebrating the biggest tourism event. They are organized by the Ha Long Bay Management Authority and Quang Ninh Province’s Association of Literature and Art.

The 2008 Ha Long Tourism Festival is entitled “Ha Long – The Natural Wonder of the World” and is being held in Quang Ninh Province from April 25 to May 1.

The Bai Chay tourist area, Tuan Chau Resort, the Viet Nam – Japan Labour Cultural Palace, the Children’s Palace and streets in the heart of Ha Long City will host various activities related to the festival.

Supporting activities will be organized in the provinces’ tourism centers, including Mong Cai, Van Don, Ha Long Bay and Yen Tu.
